While our power engineers work miracles, returning electricity to Kharkiv and the region, we continue to work at full capacity!

However, we at KHNURE are proud of the fact that we once again rallied and managed to ensure the educational process and conduct offline classes at the metro school. University students and postgraduates continue to study remotely, while workers in workplaces conduct the educational process online. Blackouts cannot stop us, because we are aware of our goal and know that despite all the difficulties, we are working together today for the sake of the future. Thanks to the generating capacity, the university ensures all work processes during the day, while the on-duty services monitor the condition of the infrastructure at night.

Speaker – Tatyana Grineva, Ph.D., researcher, leader of the ATLAS-LAPP group, Annecy Laboratory of Particle Physics (LAPP/IN2P3/CNRS), France; organizer of CERN training programs for Ukraine. Teleconference participants learned a lot of interesting things about the history and achievements of the world’s leading research center in nuclear physics.

]]> The first edition Webometrics Ranking of World Universities has been published this year.
The purpose of the ranking is to increase the presence of universities on the Internet and promote open publication of research results.
In January 2024, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics ranked 6th out of 299 Ukrainian universities, having risen from 7th place in 2023. NURE is ranked 2427th in the world, 853rd in Europe, and is the leader of Kharkiv universities.
Webometrics examines the performance of more than 32000 universities around the world, which are assessed by three indicators:
Visibility – number of external networks (subnets) linking to the institution’s web pages, calculated by Ahrefs and Majestic – 50%;
Transparency – number of citations from Top 310 authors (excluding the first 20) in Google Scholar Citations – 10%;
Excellence – number of papers amongst the top 10% most cited in each one of the all 27 disciplines according to Scimago – 40%.
NURE ranks 8th by the Excellence indicator.
It’s the first edition of 2024 with RoR institutional identifiers.

]]> The new 17th edition of the  Transparent Ranking: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar profiles from the Spanish laboratory Cybermetrics.

In the world ranking, NURE took 1841st place with a total number of citations of 78924. NURE was ranked 12th out of Ukrainian universities and 2nd among Kharkiv universities.

The presence of profiles of scientists and their citations in Google Scholar is an indicator of the web presence and openness of the university.  The place will be used as the Transparent (Openness) indicator of the next edition of the Ranking Web of Universities scheduled for the last week of January 2024.

To calculate the ranking, citations are collected from the top 310 profiles of researchers at each university.  Only profiles in the institutional domain are used for the analysis. This number of profiles is intended for comparison regardless of the size of the university.  The first twenty profiles are excluded from the list to improve representativeness. Data collection for this edition took place from 1 to 20 January 2024.

проведено засідання секції 3 «Фізичні основи процесів в радіоелектроніці,
комп’ютерній техніці та приладобудуванні» конференції 2 «Автоматизовані
системи та комп’ютеризовані технології радіоелектронного
приладобудування» у який прийняли участь студенти багатьох факультетів
університету. У своїх виступах доповідачі розповіли про фізичні явища та
процеси, що лежать в основі функціонування сучасної приладової та
інструментальної бази, що застосовується у наукових дослідженнях та
промисловості. Хоча теми доповідей виходили за межі університетських
програм, проте виступи були цікавими та інформативними. Авторам вдалося
зробити свій "крок за обрій" у своїй освіті. Здобули високі оцінки та були
нагороджені дипломами доповіді студентів Логінової А.О., Михайленко Я.Р.,
