NURE Electronic Archive in the ranking of Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar
The Spanish Cybermetrics Lab has published the latest, already 14th issue of the Ranking Web of World’s Repositories by Google Scholar.As of June 2022 in the overall ranking of institutional repositories, the electronic archive of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is at 319 positions out of 3716 possible.
Among the repositories of Ukrainian universities, the NURE Electronic Archive ranks 18th. Thanks to the selfless work of our academic staff and library employees the number of documents in the open access increased to 15900. NURE supports the European Union’s Open Science initiative for the free distribution and dissemination of educational and scientific materials and data.
The International Repository Ranking, a component of Webometrics, calculates the number of documents placed in open access archives and the level of their indexing by the Google Scholar search system. The purpose of the rating is to support the initiative of open access to scientific publications and other academic materials in electronic form, to assess the level of openness of academic resources and their integration into the global information space.
