Australian company uniRank has published a new world’s universities ranking by popularity on the Internet – uniRank University Ranking https://www.4icu.org/ua/
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took 10th place out of 192 Ukrainian universities. In the world ranking, NURE moved up from 2839th place to 2662nd. In Kharkiv, NURE retains the second place after V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Founded in 2005, uniRank™ is a leading international higher education portal and search engine that provides reviews and rankings of over 13900 officially recognized universities and colleges in 200 countries. The ranking evaluates the official web resources of universities by independent webometric indicators that assess website traffic and its mention in the Internet.
The current uniRank University Ranking™ is based upon an algorithm including 4 unbiased and independent web metrics extracted from 3 different web intelligence sources:
Majestic Referring Domains with a minimum Trust Flow (55%)
Similarweb Global Rank (35%)
Moz Domain Authority (5%)
Majestic Trust Flow (5%)

The first edition Webometrics Ranking of World Universities has been published this year.
The purpose of the ranking is to increase the presence of universities on the Internet and promote open publication of research results.
In January 2024, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics ranked 6th out of 299 Ukrainian universities, having risen from 7th place in 2023. NURE is ranked 2427th in the world, 853rd in Europe, and is the leader of Kharkiv universities.
Webometrics examines the performance of more than 32000 universities around the world, which are assessed by three indicators:
Visibility – number of external networks (subnets) linking to the institution’s web pages, calculated by Ahrefs and Majestic – 50%;
Transparency – number of citations from Top 310 authors (excluding the first 20) in Google Scholar Citations – 10%;
Excellence – number of papers amongst the top 10% most cited in each one of the all 27 disciplines according to Scimago – 40%.
NURE ranks 8th by the Excellence indicator.
It’s the first edition of 2024 with RoR institutional identifiers.

The new 17th edition of the  Transparent Ranking: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar profiles from the Spanish laboratory Cybermetrics.

In the world ranking, NURE took 1841st place with a total number of citations of 78924. NURE was ranked 12th out of Ukrainian universities and 2nd among Kharkiv universities.

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking 2022 has been published – a light ranking, the results of which demonstrate the success of universities in a way that overcomes the problems of standing in the middle. UI Green Metric World University Ranking Healthy campus livability, infrastructure integrity, green start-ups, better energy-efficient technologies, water conservation programs, reduced CO2 emissions. In 2022, 1050 universities from 85 countries took part in the ranking. Among them are 17 Ukrainian Western Military Districts. KHNURE posіv 899 position, among Ukrainian universities for 13 months. Traditionally, our best position is in the Energy and Climate Change category.

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics asks to take part in the Day of Opening Doors, which will be held online, on December 25 at 13:00. The Spanish Cybermetrics Lab has published the latest, already 14th issue of the Ranking Web of World’s Repositories by Google Scholar.As of June 2022 in the overall ranking of institutional repositories, the electronic archive of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is at 319 positions out of 3716 possible.
Among the repositories of Ukrainian universities, the NURE Electronic Archive ranks 18th. Thanks to the selfless work of our academic staff and library employees the number of documents in the open access increased to 15900. NURE supports the European Union’s Open Science initiative for the free distribution and dissemination of educational and scientific materials and data.
The International Repository Ranking, a component of Webometrics, calculates the number of documents placed in open access archives and the level of their indexing by the Google Scholar search system. The purpose of the rating is to support the initiative of open access to scientific publications and other academic materials in electronic form, to assess the level of openness of academic resources and their integration into the global information space.
