NURE has improved its position in the U-Multirank ranking

The U-Multirank international ranking of universities, launched by the European Commission together with the German Center for the Development of Higher Education and the Dutch Center for Higher Education Policy Research, presented its eighth issue.
Since its first edition in 2014, U-Multirank has more than doubled the number of universities from 850 to 1948 and country coverage from 74 to 97.
This year, 79 Ukrainian universities were included in the ranking. According to the number of the highest marks “A” NURE took the first place among Ukrainian universities.
U-Multirank is an alternative approach to comparing universities that offers solutions to the shortcomings inherent in traditional rankings. His multidimensional approach compares the performance of universities in different activities, evaluating each of them from “A” (very good) to “E” (weak). This allows users to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the university in those aspects that interest them.
Unlike QS or THE ratings, which are based on Scopus data, U-Multirank uses bibliographic information on the number of publications, citations, international co-authors, etc., from the Web of Science scientometric database.
The U-Multirank Sunburst pie chart shows the achievements of universities in five areas: education, science, technology transfer, international activities and regional cooperation.
It should be noted that compared to last year, the number of “non-zero” sectors of the NURE chart has increased significantly.

From the diagram, we can conclude that the University has at least 2 “A” grades in each of the five sections, which indicates a well-organized educational and research processes, as well as a successful multi-vector strategy, demonstrates stable growth dynamics and meets modern standards quality of education and science.
