NURE in the world rankings of the best universities
On June 8 at the EduData Summit, held at the United Nations Headquarters (New York) and online, the results of the QS World University Rankings 2023 were announced.
QS World University Rankings is considered one of the most influential global university rankings. This year for the first time the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was included in the ranking.
A total of 11 Ukrainian universities were named in the ranking:
541-550 V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
651-700 National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”
651-700 Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv
701-750 National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”
801-1000 Lviv Polytechnic National University
801-1000 Sumy State University
1001-1200 Ivan Franko National University of Lviv
1001-1200 Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics
1001-1200 National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy
1001-1200 Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University
1201-1400 National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
NURE ranked in the group 1001-1200 out of 1422 universities from 100 countries.
Currently, our University is represented in the regional QS EECA ranking, in the QS World University Rankings by Subject and now in the QS World University Rankings.
Rating methodology takes into account academic reputation (40%), reputation of employers (10%), citation of scientific publications (20%), the ratio of professors to students (20%), the relative number of foreign professors and students (5% each). The organizers also proposed new indicators of graduate employment and international partnership.
Promotion of NURE in the world rankings allowed to get funding under the cost-sharing formula and create the financial reserve necessary for the survival of the University.
