NURE presented its achievements in UI GreenMetric World University Ranking

he International Environmental Sustainability Rating of Higher Education Institutions – UI GreenMetric, compiled by the University of Indonesia since 2010, has been published. The Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took 823th place with a total score of 3500. Among 18 Ukrainian universities, NURE took 13th place.
The purpose of the rating is to assess the sustainable environmental development of universities and create an energy-saving management model. Universities are assessed on six parameters: infrastructure, energy efficiency and environmental change, waste recycling, water conservation, transport policy, the environmental component in educational programs.
The developers of the rating seek to draw the attention of the academic community to the need for sustainable development policies to address environmental issues.
In 2021, the ranking included 956 universities.
