At the Department of Physics on April 20 online within the framework of the 25th International Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI Century” 2 conference “Automated systems and computerized technologies of radio electronic instrumentation” was held, section 3 “Physical foundations of processes in radio electronics, computer technology and instrumentation”.

Physics is the basis of the modern high-industrial society and its achievements are applied in all its spheres. Therefore, student reports presented at the conference covered a wide range of modern scientific directions and technologies. Although the topics of the reports sometimes went beyond the framework of the university program, the speakers were able to understand the principles of implementation and control of complex physical processes.

The reports were devoted to such topical problems: wireless transmission of electricity, the Large Hadron Collider, the use of thermography in medicine, accumulation of the Earth’s energy, thermal flaw detection, refractive index dispersion, etc. department. The presented reports caused an active discussion and discussion, in which, in addition to students, the teachers of the department took part.

The organizing committee highlighted the following performances:

  1. Large Hadron Collider – achievements and development prospects. Michurin I.E. – 1st degree diploma.
  2. Development of transport systems using magnetic levitation technology. Redkin K.S. – II degree diploma.
  3. MRI as one of the safest methods of human examination. Kuzmenko A.S. – III degree diploma.
  4. Application of thermography in medicine. Vinnik-Krupchan A.V. – III degree diploma.

Physics helped all participants to take their first step into science, which, we hope, will be followed by others.
