On November 7, at 14-00, a meeting of the Conference of the Scientific Society of Young Scientists of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics in the assembly hall of the Synergy Science Park took place.

On November 20-21, 2019, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance for Candidates for Experts in Educational Program Accreditations underwent in-person training at Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Under the guidance of the NA trainers, the candidates have disassembled and practiced practical actions in the various work situations that arise during OP accreditations. Associate Professor Roman Orel took part in the training.

On October 8, 2019, students of the second Zmeevskaya school under the guidance of physics teacher Olga Fadeeva
to the department of physics. They visited the educational laboratories of the department, during the visit to the labarotorium, the tasks of the tournament were discussed young physicists 2019 with associate professor Department of Physics Kalinin V.V. who is a member of the jury of the physics section of the Small Academy of Sciences Ukraine in Kharkov. The laboratories of manics, electricity and magnetism, optics and atomic physics were visited. A meeting lasted more than two hours.

On October 8-10, 2019, the session of the Scientific and Methodological Commissions of the Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was held on the basis of the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Professional Higher Education”.

Head of the Department of Physics Kovalenko O.M. took part in a session of SMC 6 on biology, natural sciences and mathematics.

From 18 to 20 September  2019, the  International Scientific Conference of Natural Sciences and Technologies ICONAT-2019 was held on the basis of  Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics jointly with lifecell company, Eskişehir Technical University (Turkey) under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The Department of Physics of KhNURE was represented by a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Kozar A.I., Ph.D., Head of Department Kovalenko O.M., Ph.D., Associate Professor Orel R.P. and senior lecturer Onishchenko A.A., who made presentations.

The participation of the Department of Physics scientists in international conferences

From September 6 to 10, the XXIX International Scientific Symposium “Metrology and Metrological Support” (IMO-2019) was held in Sozopol (Bulgaria). This is a representative scientific event in which more than 120 experts from many countries of Europe and the former CIS participated. More than 80 reports were presented in 9 sections of the symposium. The symposium was attended by scientists of the Department of Physics: Rybalka A.I. (“Evaluation of the effectiveness of laser-acoustic conversion”); Meshkov S.N., Orel R.P. (“The usage of thermal imaging in energy-saving technologies”).

The Department of Physics invites students to participate in the XVIII All-Ukrainian Student Physicists Tournament, which will be held in the Kiev National University of Taras Shevchenko.

Trainings of the KNURE Team are held on Thursdays at 15:00 in the auditorium 423.

3-5 April 2019 in Kharkiv National University of Municipal Economy named after A.M. Beketov the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline “Physics” was held.
37 students from 22 higher educational institutions of III-IV accreditation from Kharkov, Kiev, Vinnitsa, Dnipro, Mariupol, Odessa, Poltava, Zaporozhye took part in the Olympiad.
Students of KNURE and teachers of the Department of Physics annually take part in the event. This year, the honor of KNURE was defended by student gr. ITSHI-18-1 Mikhno Yevgeny Vitalyevich and a student of the group PZPI-18-1 Panasenko Daniil Pavlovich.
The jury of the Olympics included the head of the Department of Physics Kovalenko E.N. and associate professor Ryblka A.I.

April 16, 2019 at the Department of Physics in the framework of the XXIII International Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI Century” a conference was held 2 “Automated systems and computerized instrumentation technologists”. The reports submitted to section 3 “Physical processes in radio electronics, computer equipment and instrument making” (Head of the Department Kovalenko E.N., secretary assistant professor Meshkov SN) were heard. 8 reports were reported. Most of the reports were devoted to the practical application of thermal imaging in modern science, technology, as well as everyday life. This was a confirmation of the fact that many speakers actively participated in the work of the group “Thermal control and its provision”.

The following reports were noted:
