The Osvita.ua portal published the annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions according to the Scopus scientometric database. The Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has risen one position compared to 2020 and ranks 21st. In terms of the number of articles, NURE retains 10th place, in terms of citations – ranks 15th, compared to last year’s 17. The increase in the Hirsch index was 4 points.

On April 21-22, 2021 the All-Ukrainian scientific student conference “Actual problems of physics and their information support” took place in NTU “KhPI”

Oleg Yurchenko, Fedor Kirpota, Lilia Pogorelova, Sofia Rutskaya, Vladislav Tokar, Alexander Kuzmenko, Ekaterina Medovaya, Andrey Dolgiy, Kirill Redkin, Adelina Vinnik and Krupchanv took part in the remote meeting of the section “Applied and Theoretical Physics”. on various issues of physics.

In the third issue of the influence ranking from the British company Times Higher Education, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took a place in the group 1001+.
Impact Rankings assesses the contribution of the world’s universities to the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. In addition to the general place in the world ranking, places are determined for each of the SDGs. More and more universities are recognizing the importance of prioritizing sustainable development in their activities, which is reflected in the expansion of the ranking. The 2021 ranking is the largest to date and includes 1,240 universities from 98 countries.
This year, 15 Ukrainian universities were included in the overall ranking.
Of the 7 SDGs in which the University of Radio Electronics has achieved achievements, the best recognized are SDG 3 “Strong Health” (position in the group 601-800), SDG 5 “Gender Equality” (position in the group 601+), SDG 10 “Reducing inequality” (position in group 301-400). According to the mandatory for participation in the ranking of SDG 17 “Partnership for Sustainable Development”, NURE took a place in the group 601-800.
Links to the official website, department websites and other relevant sources are provided as evidence and confirmation of the universities’ efforts to achieve the SDG. Bibliographic information is provided by the Elsevier ranking partner. To do this, Scopus has created specific queries that narrow the metric area to articles related to each SDG. As in the world ranking of Times Higher Education, the five-year window between 2015 and 2019 is used.

At the Department of Physics on April 20 online within the framework of the 25th International Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI Century” 2 conference “Automated systems and computerized technologies of radio electronic instrumentation” was held, section 3 “Physical foundations of processes in radio electronics, computer technology and instrumentation”.

Physics is the basis of the modern high-industrial society and its achievements are applied in all its spheres. Therefore, student reports presented at the conference covered a wide range of modern scientific directions and technologies. Although the topics of the reports sometimes went beyond the framework of the university program, the speakers were able to understand the principles of implementation and control of complex physical processes.

The Department of Physics invites students, graduate students and young scientists to take part in the XXV International Youth Forum “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI Century”, which will be held at the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics on April 20-22.

The Portal “Dengi.UA”, along with employers, amounted to the rating of higher educational establishments of Ukraine in terms of training specialists and demanding graduates in the labor market. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics entered this year’s ranking of 8th place, compared to last year – 12 positions.

On February 11, 2021, an online meeting of the Scientific and
Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was
held on the basis of the State Institution "Scientific and Methodological Center for
Higher and Professional Before Higher Education".
Head of the Department of Physics Kovalenko O.M. took part in the
meeting.
General Director of the Directorate of Professional Higher Education of the
Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Sharov O.I. made a report on the
task of the higher education sector of the scientific methodological council and
scientific and methodological commissions of the Ministry of Education and
Science in 2021, on the state of development of higher education standards.
After the report, Sharov O.I., head of the department of educational content
and modernization of the educational process S.I. Didusenko answered the

questions of the meeting participants. and curator of the scientific and
methodological commission 6 A.P. Gozhik.
