The next issue of the Transparency Ranking: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar profiles from the Spanish laboratory Cybermetrics has been published.

The authors of the rating consider citations in the Google Academy as an indicator of the web presence of university researchers, which reflects their activities and is an indicator of the openness of the university. Only profiles in the institutional domain are used for analysis. The place in this ranking will be used as an indicator of transparency (Openness) of the next edition of Webometrics, scheduled for the end of January 2022. Quotes from the 210 best profiles of each university are collected for the rating. This number of profiles is for comparison regardless of size. The first twenty profiles are excluded from the list in order to improve representativeness. Data collection took place on January 10-20, 2022. This version of the ranking contains about 4,200 university profiles.

Teachers of the Department of Physics Meshkov SM and Orel RP took part in Nure Winter Holidays 2022, giving a WOW lecture “Look into the invisible.” They spoke about the principle of operation of thermal imagers and the possibility of thermal vision. he International Environmental Sustainability Rating of Higher Education Institutions – UI GreenMetric, compiled by the University of Indonesia since 2010, has been published. The Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took 823th place with a total score of 3500. Among 18 Ukrainian universities, NURE took 13th place.
The purpose of the rating is to assess the sustainable environmental development of universities and create an energy-saving management model. Universities are assessed on six parameters: infrastructure, energy efficiency and environmental change, waste recycling, water conservation, transport policy, the environmental component in educational programs.
The developers of the rating seek to draw the attention of the academic community to the need for sustainable development policies to address environmental issues.
In 2021, the ranking included 956 universities.
